Rushab Momaya, 23, a 2011 Trumbull High School graduate, stated that he was going to bomb the school but did not include any details in the posting, Trumbull police said.
When Trumbull Police and the fire marshal’s office responded to Momaya’s residence, they quickly determined that the threat was not credible and that there were no explosive materials or incendiary devices on the premises, police said.
Police and fire officials also worked closely with the Board of Education and school security personnel to ensure that the safety and security of Trumbull High School had not been breached during the incident.
Momaya was charged with threatening, harassment, and breach of peace. He is being held on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
